James and Jann are a great couple that had gotten stuck in a bad predicament. Their wedding was scheduled for October 28th, 2006 at Monteverde in Cortlandt Manor. They had hired an officiant and hadn't gotten a contract. The officiant had some personal issues and so hadn't responded to them. A couple of days before the wedding, they realized that the officiant they hired would probably not show up. The found my website and luckily with some adjusting of meetings, I was able to assist them on their day, so their wedding could take place. They made such a nice, fun bride and groom. The setting was great, as was the music. My only regret was that I hadn't had more time to get to know them better.
Hello Ryan,
Hope you are well. Thank you yet again, all of our guests were thoroughly impressed by the ceremony, they all thought that you were great. One of my favourite comments was that the ceremony was very "real" and hence powerful. We couldn't have done it without you! The rest of the day followed suit perfectly with the celebration and speeches being as real and as beautiful as the ceremony was. Even the weather slowly turned from blustery and overcast to stunning sunlight through the afternoon.
All in all the day was as close to perfect as I've ever experienced, and as we had been careful in our planning not to try and think about achieving that usually impossible task it was a lovely experience when the whole day came together even more wonderfully than we had expected. Essentially we had a simple recipe and were lucky enough to have had the most superb ingredients available, thank you once again for being a part of that.
Best Regards
James.
